Membership runs for one year from the date of enrollment. As a voluntary organisation, the financial support we receive from our members is vital if we are to be able to continue our bird and habitat conservation work, keep working with schools and teachers and create and manage nature reserves.  By becoming a member today, you can help us in our work and make a real difference to wildlife in Ireland.

In addition, all new members receive Wings, our quarterly membership magazine covering everything to do with birds and bird conservation in Ireland, a membership pack full of useful information, details of our 20 local branches across Ireland, and free entry to BWI events nationwide, including lectures, wildlife courses and guided field trips, as well as access to our reserves all around the country.

Family:

Join now as a Family for just €60 per year and in addition to your free gift and quarterly magazine, Family Members receive our half yearly children’s magazine Bird Detectives.

Key Member:

Become one of our dedicated ‘Key’ members for just €100 per year and in addition to the benefits of individual membership you will receive ‘Irish Birds’, the definitive annual publication on the status of Ireland’s birds.
